This cheat has the potential to either maximize gameplay or crash your game to the point that you never play it again.

The cheat boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true (also known, unofficially, as "The Boolprop Cheat") is without a doubt the most powerful cheat in the game, and should be treated as so. After you're done using this cheat, it is extremely recommended to stop this cheat from working by using boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false.
This cheat may have been used to test the game (We are unsure, but is a very big rumour)

This article will instruct you on only some of the high points of the cheat. If you find anything missing or would like to know if it is possible to do something else with it, ask Sam, Supuhstar or Nathan .

[edit] Moving bars

While in the Neighbourhood, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat.
Enter your desired lot and select a Sim.
To change the properties, just hold the mouse over the bars you want to change and drag them to the left or right.

When you're done, disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false and, of course, save the game.
Be aware that this will not fullfill wants, like "influence someone to clean" or "maximize a skill".
Maxing the personality of all your Sims is not advisable; they will all act the same way. Just the differences between Sims and how they react to one another is one of the most interesting parts of the game.

[edit] Vampirism (Nightlife only)

In any screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat.
Enter your desired lot and Shift + Click your desired Sim.
Select More... until you see Make Vampire.

If you want to cure your Sim of Vampirism, do the same process. If the sim is a vampire, the option will be changed to Cure Vampire.

When you're done, disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false and, of course, save the game.

[edit] Lifetime platinum mood

In any screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat.
Enter your desired lot and Shift + Click your desired Sim.
Select Spawn...
Select More... until you see Sim Modder.
You will receive a statue of a baby.
Disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false
Click the baby statue, choose Wants and Fears..., Lifetime..., and Cycle Through ALL Lifetime Wants

When you're done, disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false and, of course, save the game.

[edit] Create-A-Sim extras

In the CAS screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat.
Press Shift + N.
You will get the following message:

You will find many previously hidden clothes, hairstyles, hats, skins, etc. to use
When you're done, disable the cheat with pressing Shift + M and then boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false and, of course, save the game.

[edit] Talent Badges

In any screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat:

boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled true

Enter your desired lot and Shift + Click on the desired Sim.
Chose More... until you see Spawn...
Then choose More... until you see Badge Juicer
Click it.

The object you now get is a small toyboat (the same used in the "tease" option of child siblings).
When it has appeared, disable the cheat with boolprop testingcheatsenabled false and, of course, save the game.

[edit] Perks (Open For Business only)

Perks are points which you can use to 'buy' certain options in the game like more Sale options or getting a discount for the items you sell in your store.

In any screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat:

boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled true

Enter your desired lot and Shift + Click your desired Sim. This cheat will not work in unless you have the business OWNER selected
Choose More... until you see DEBUG Interaction... Then choose Give Reward Points.
You receive 25 points to spend however.
When you're done, disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false and, of course, save the game.

[edit] Renaming a Sim

In any screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat.
Enter your desired lot and Shift + Click on the desired Sim.
Choose More... until you see Spawn... Then choose Tombstone of L and D.
The item you receive will be a tombstone.

When the tombstone has appeared, disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false and, of course, save the game.
Then click the Tombstone, choose More... and then Rename Sim.

A text box will appear in which you can enter the new name. (It may not look like the one shown above)

[edit] Popular Party

This may drastically slow down game performance!

In any screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat.
Enter your desired lot and Shift + Click on the mailbox.
Choose Invite all Neighbours and all Sims in the neighbourhood will enter the lot. This may take awhile for your computer to compute.

As you can see in the picture on the right, it can become very crowded.

[edit] Kill or Infect your sims

In any screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat.
Enter your desired lot and Shift + Click on the desired Sim.

[edit] Illness

Choose More... until you see Spawn... Then choose MakeMeSick Tester
The object you receive is a yellow box with a big red arrow on it and either the vords "XY Placeholder" or just "Placeholder" below the arrow.
When it has appeared, disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false
Click the box and you will see the options of Cold, Flu, Morning Sickness, Food Poisoning, and Pneumonia.

[edit] Death

Choose More... until you see Spawn... Then choose Rodney's Death Creator.
The item you recieve will be a tombstone.

When the tombstone has appeared, disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false and, of course, save the game.
Click on the tombstone and you see all 9 ways for a Sim to die.

[edit] Elevator (Open For Business only)

Another way to die is in an elevator plummet.

Shift-click the elevator and select plummet.
Your sim will get in and, if their health is low enough, will come out and die.

[edit] Get any job

This cheat is usefull if your Sims lost their job and you don't want to start over from the beginning.

Many Lifetime aspirations require to reach the top of a certain career. Maxing a career this way will NOT fulfill this Lifetime want. Best is to set the level to 9 and fulfill the requirements with dragging them to the right (see Moving bars for this). Even if your not going after a Lifetime want this is advisable or your Sim won't get the memory.

In any screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat.
Enter your desired lot and Shift + Click on the newspaper.

[edit] Unemployed

Choose *Get Jobs for Adults...
Select your desired career name from the resulting pie menu.

[edit] Employed

Sims that already have a job get an extra pie menu called *Set Job Level to...

Click this and an option the resulting pie menu with the options of levels 1-10.
Doing so results in your sim's instant (pro-/de-)motion!

When you're done, disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false and, of course, save the game.

For those that have University installed, your Sim can now follow the 4 University careers like Paranormal and Artist even if they didn't go to University.

[edit] Career Rewards

In any screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat.
Enter your desired lot and select your desired sim.
Shift + Click on the newspaper.
Select "*Career Rewards..." and then select the desired career to obtain the career reward in that sims rewards section of the HUD.
When you're done, disable the cheat with boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false and, of course, save the game.

[edit] Get Pregnant with Any Other Sim

In this short tutorial, you can learn how to get pregnant with any other Sim.
If you have a same-sex couple and like to raise a child, there is no other way then to adopt. Of course it would be nicer if they could have a child with the parents' genes. With Boolprop you can do that. And more.

In the Neighbourhood screen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true
Enter a lot, shift + click on a sim and click more... until you see: Spawn... Then choose Tombstone of L and D.

When the tombstone has appeared, disable the cheat with boolProp testingCheatsEnabled false
Then just click on the Tombstone and select more... until you see: Get pregnant with...
After clicking that, you get a menu with all Sims that are present on the lot. And yes, you can even choose to be pregnant with yourself'.
Click a name and you will hear the little sound to let you know the Sim is pregnant.

There are 2 more pregnancy options:

[edit] Alien pregnancy

There is also an option on the tombstone to get alien pregnant if you would like that. This means that this time, also female Sims can have an alien baby.

[edit] Speed up pregnancy

Sims that are pregnant get a new option at the tombstone which is to speed up the pregnancy. Don't want to get morning sickness for 3 days? Click the option and the baby will be born in 2 Simhours.

In this short tutorial, you can learn how to get some more friends for your Sims.

[edit] Make Friends

If you have read the tutorial for maxing skills, etc., you know that you can easily drag the relationship bars to the right. However, you still need to know them. Also if you have many friends, dragging 50 bars to the right is somewhat time-consuming. Here follows a neat trick to do all that a bit faster:

In the Neighbourhoodscreen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true
Enter any occupied residential lot, shift + click the Mailbox and select Make friends for me. This option makes the first 21 Sims your sim knows become friends with a 55/55 relationship for. This is of course very handy to get that promotion.

[edit] Know Everyone

In the Neighbourhoodscreen, open up the cheat window and enter the cheat: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true
Enter any occupied residential lot, shift + click the Mailbox and select Make me know everyone

This option makes you know everybody in the neighbourhood with a 25/25 relationship. In a fairly empty Nhood this resulted in 228 Sims in the friendship panel. Below is a visual representation:
